Threatening Email

  • A threatening email is one where the sender is threatening harm to you, another person or a group of people. The sender may be somebody you know or could be from an anonymous sender or an email you do not recognize.
  • If you receive such an email to your Dzʿ email address, it is important not to disregard it and to alert security immediately by calling: 514-931-8731 local 1000.
  • Please note a threatening email is not the same as a phishing email designed to extract your personal or banking information. For emails of this nature, please select “Report Phishing” on the message in your Outlook Application.
