Apart from reading the FAQ, program pages and Open House info, we have some key advice for you.

Some key advice for all potential applicants considering ÆßÐDzʿª½±

  • Browse the programs, take a self-guided tour, or visit ÆßÐDzʿª½±â€™s Open House. Decide which programs interest you the most and which ones you think you could get into based on the courses you have taken and your academic performance. Ask your guidance counsellor or a ÆßÐDzʿª½± academic advisor about the grades you need to be competitive. Cut-off averages fluctuate each year.
  • Apply to the program of your choice at ÆßÐDzʿª½± if you have the minimum admission requirements. Unlike other public CEGEPs in Montreal, ÆßÐDzʿª½± has an independent application system so you can apply directly from our website. You can apply to a program at ÆßÐDzʿª½± and still apply to other CEGEPs as well, keeping your options open. Use all the application systems at your disposal.
  • If you have an English eligibility certificate and you meet the minimum program requirements, priority will be given to your application based on college-determined standards that vary depending on the program.
  • If you do not have an English eligibility certificate, you should still apply if you meet the minimum program admission requirements. A little less than half the new students at ÆßÐDzʿª½± this Fall 2024 semester are non-certificate holders. You will be in good company. For more information on how your English eligibility status impacts your application and educational pathway, visit our Law 14 FAQ page.
  • If you really want to come to ÆßÐDzʿª½± and are not sure you have the grades to get into a particular program, ask an academic advisor about your options. Some programs are very accessible. You can always apply to a program, work on your grades and apply for a program transfer. For more advice on choosing a program, visit our How to Choose a Program page.
