New Grants for ÆßÐDzʿª½± Researchers
Congratulations to Stewart Cooke, Stacey Zembrzycki and Nancy Rebelo, who were awarded grants from SSHRC this spring!
Stewart Cooke (English Literature) was awarded his third Insight Grant to continue his work on an annotated scholarly edition of the letters of Charles Burney, Vol 4. Burney was an 18th century English musician, composer and man of letters.
Stacey Zembrzycki and Nancy Rebelo (History) were awarded a Partnership Engage Grant for a multimedia project titled “Survivors on the Main: Witnessing the Holocaust, remaking home in Montreal.” They will partner with the Montreal Holocaust Museum to do oral history interviews with Holocaust survivors who settled in and around St. Laurent Boulevard to create a downloadable one-hour historical audio walk, an accompanying booklet and a five-minute video for the Museum’s permanent exhibition.
