The Research Ethics Board (REB) is an autonomous body that is mandated by ÆßÐDzʿª½±â€™s Board of Governors to review the ethical acceptability of research involving humans, when conducted by ÆßÐDzʿª½± faculty, staff, students or approved external researchers.
ÆßÐDzʿª½± is served by a single institutional REB, and its mandate from the Board of Governors grants it the authority to approve, reject, propose modifications to, or terminate on ethical grounds any proposed or ongoing research that involves human participants and is conducted within the jurisdiction or under the auspices of ÆßÐDzʿª½±, regardless of where the research is conducted.
