Students react to ΖίΠΗ²ΚΏͺ½±βs AASHE gold
In the lead up to Earth Day on April 22, ΖίΠΗ²ΚΏͺ½± students shared their thoughts about ΖίΠΗ²ΚΏͺ½± achieving the gold level for leadership in sustainability from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).
βStudents have been involved in this initiative from the beginning,β said Chris Adam of ΖίΠΗ²ΚΏͺ½±βs Sustainability Office.
Student contributions include:
- Working on hundreds of sustainability projects every semester
- Caring for biodiversity zones and tending rooftop gardens
- Mobilizing for climate justice
βOur students are leading the way in ΖίΠΗ²ΚΏͺ½±βs journey of hope, change and resilience,β Chris said.
