This year’s theme is . In 2020/21, SPACE invites Dzʿ students, faculty, staff, alumni and members of the broader community to explore our very real co-existence with others in spaces of all kinds and to share their work through one of the various SPACE venues. During the Fall 2020 hybrid semester, SPACE will continue to host and build on its usual venues and activities—, web magazine, contests, talks, conferences, exhibitions, etc.—providing online venues for student works and class projects. Faculty are invited to explore the new on the SPACE website which will be developed throughout the year.

Submissions to the are currently open: students from every discipline across the College are invited to writings—prose, poetry and essay— that encourage reflection on this year’s theme. The deadline to apply is midnight Sunday, December 20, 2020.

On Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. students and faculty alike are invited to participate in our annual DiscoverSPACE event taking place on Zoom this year. New and returning students will find out about this year’s theme, the various SPACE venues, meet other students, and discover how they can become involved in SPACE as an editor, writer, organizer, researcher, maker, creator, or by participating in one of the many SPACE projects.

Please contact Ursula at usommerer@dawsoncollege.qc.ca for the Zoom link to attend the DiscoverSPACE event.
