Rob Springer Hockey Game Feb. 7 at 8 p.m.

Feb. 3 marked five years since we lost Rob Springer in a traffic accident on his way to work at ÆßÐDzʿª½±. Rob worked in IST, and was known as Bear for his tireless support of the ÆßÐDzʿª½± Blues, especially women’s hockey. His legacy lives on in the Rob Springer Scholarship Fund. Athletics has produced…

DAC stands for the ÆßÐDzʿª½± Activity Club and it is a great way to meet people at ÆßÐDzʿª½± and enjoy lunches and activities once a month. The next DAC event will be in March and will likely be related to St. Patrick's Day.

ÆßÐDzʿª½±'s annual Information Evening is this Wednesday, Feb. 5 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Venues are the Upper Atrium, Conrod's and 3C.1. This is a chance for prospective students to get more information about programs before the March 1 application deadline.

The risk of Canadians contracting the Novel Coronavirus is low, according to Health Canada. Most people with common coronavirus illness will recover on their own.

The 4001 de Maisonneuve entrance is closed Tuesday, Feb. 4 until 4 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 5 until 3 pm.

Jean Nagy enjoyed a Mexican holiday with her daughter Jan. 18-25 after winning the Club Med trip at the 50th anniversary Party for ÆßÐDzʿª½± Employees in September. She wanted to share her appreciation with our community:

"I was given a choice of four resorts and I decided to go to Ixtapa in Mexico.ÌýMy daughter and I enjoyed the warm waters of the Pacific and the hot temperatures. For all of you who 'volunteered' to go with me, we had a toast to your health."
