Upcoming CLÉO Pomodoro Workshops

CLÉO's weekly Pomodoro workshops with technician Skyler Charlie are still going! They will now be held in the afternoon.
The next one is set for Friday, April 19 from 2 PM to 3 PM and will take place in 3F.3. The rest will be on Thursdays (from April 25 to June 13) in 3F.5 from 12 PM to 1 PM.
The goal of these workshops is to work on French tasks (Skyler Charlie will be there to help you), whether it be homework and assignments for students, or conversation and writing-skill development for staff and faculty. There will be a break between two 25-minute working periods during which a small activity will take place to help participants build a sense of community and refresh their minds.

The Performa program encourages continuous learning directly relevant to teachers and professionals roles, taught by Cégep teachers and professionals.

Sixth ÆßÐDzʿª½± cohort begins AI Launch Lab/ÆßÐDzʿª½± AI series Feb. 10

AI Launch Lab and ÆßÐDzʿª½± AI are offering a sixth series of workshops on artificial intelligence beginning Feb. 10.
Registration is open to all college students for a free eight-week online course on Saturday mornings beginning Feb. 10.

Social Science Week is next week! There is a diverse array of speakers and topics to interest everyone at ÆßÐDzʿª½±â€™s Social Science Week 2024, from Monday, Feb. 12 through Friday, Feb. 16. All events are taking place in 5B.16 at ÆßÐDzʿª½± and every day concludes with a Cinema Politica film screening at 6:30 PM.

Cultural safety in the workplace lunch ‘n learn on Dec. 6

The First Nations Human Resources Development Commission of Québec (FNHRDCQ), a long time partner of will give a talk online on Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 12 PM to 1 PM about cultural safety in the workplace. It aims to increase our knowledge of the cultural context and help us adopt practices that promote equity with First Nations. This is a first step in an ongoing process to recognize First Nations skills, improve their access to employment and ensure an inclusive development.
