Our Loran Scholar Margaux Roncière (a ÆßÐDzʿª½± student in her last year of Pure and Applied Science) was interviewed on CBC Radio's afternoon program Let's Go on March 16. The Loran is Canada's largest undergraduate scholarship.

Working on solutions and processing applications

ÆßÐDzʿª½± is working on solutions to salvage the semester and applications are being processed as usual.

As of March 23, the Admissions Team had sent out 4,700 offers of admission.

ÆßÐDzʿª½± student Tristan Hamer has created a volunteer movement of young people in high school and CEGEP to provide free or pay what you can babysitting services for people in need of childcare during the school shutdown. On March 5, Elizabeth May gave a special lecture to Anna-Liisa Aunio's Environmental Seminar, which was moved to 3C.1 to allow over 200 students to attend. Active learning at ÆßÐDzʿª½± shared across Quebec

ÆßÐDzʿª½± teachers Selma Hamdani (Psychology) and Yann Brouillette (Chemistry) share their experience with the innovative pedagogy of active learning and the peer support of the ÆßÐDzʿª½± Active Learning Community (DALC) in a new video requested by the Ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur.

ÆßÐDzʿª½± student wins biggest undergrad scholarship in Canada!

February 18th, 2020

Margaux Roncière, who will be graduating from ÆßÐDzʿª½± in Pure and Applied Science this spring, has won Canada’s largest undergraduate award: the Loran Award.
