The first workshop on , took place at ÆßÐDzʿª½± from Jan. 9 to 11. The workshop, the only NASA sanctioned event held outside of the United States, was co-convened by ÆßÐDzʿª½±â€™s Richard Soare (faculty, Geography) and Jim Garvin, formerly NASA’s Chief Mars Scientist and currently the Principal Investigator of the DAVINCI Mission to Venus.

ÆßÐDzʿª½± students win gold & silver at industrial design competition

Twenty-eight ÆßÐDzʿª½± students in various programs participated in the very first industrial design contest entitled L'Odyssée de L'Objet en 48h, which took place Nov. 4-6 at Cégep de Vieux Montréal. ÆßÐDzʿª½± students won five of the eight categories on composting, a theme that was only revealed on day one of the competition.

Teachers involved in active learning share experiences in video

ÆßÐDzʿª½± faculty members share their experiences about adopting active learning pedagogy and some examples of how it enriches learning in a bilingual video made on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the ÆßÐDzʿª½± Active Learning Community (DALC).
