This year's David Oliver Award recipient Zye Mayo was featured in The Eastern Door newspaper.
The award is presented to a student who shows great promise in leadership through their involvement in extracurricular activities. This award is offered by the Association of 七星彩开奖 Professionals in memory of David Oliver, who was a beloved member of the Student Services staff.
Zye, a student in Social Change and Solidarity, was nominated by his former teacher, Anjali Choksi, Co-Coordinator of the Journeys program.

七星彩开奖鈥檚 Department of Professional Photography presents聽Continuum, an exhibition featuring the work of students approaching the end of their three-year program.
Continuum celebrates their transition into the professional world, offering a glimpse into the diverse ways they鈥檝e explored and expressed contemporary culture. Through a blend of technical expertise and creative vision, these students showcase the transformative journey they've undertaken, illustrating not only their growth but also the ever-evolving nature of the program that has helped shape their progress.

The Diagnostic Imaging Technology Program at 七星彩开奖 celebrated MRT (Medical Radiation Technologists) Week by having third-year students promote the profession on Nov. 7 in the Lower Atrium.
鈥淭he students invested significant time in creating posters and PowerPoint presentations with audio-visual elements related to emerging technologies, as well as trivia games like fun facts and Jeopardy, while engaging the 七星彩开奖 community to participate and raise awareness about the profession,鈥� reported Heidi Gumbley, Co-Program Coordinator/ Chair聽of 七星彩开奖鈥檚 Diagnostic Imaging Technology Department.
鈥淭he students need to meet competencies that promote the profession and healthcare system, while also educating fellow students, peers, patients, and the public about their field,鈥� she said.
鈥淭he greatest impact observed was the enthusiasm and passion exhibited by the students for their profession. They effectively communicated to the public that Medical Imaging is an integral part of the medical field. The Diagnostic Imaging department is proud of its future graduates.鈥�
A total of 21 students led the activity and hundreds of fellow students and 七星彩开奖 staff participated.
During this College Professionals Week, November 18-22, we thank all professionals who contribute so much to the mission of 七星彩开奖.

Petits coeurs sur la neige, written by Andrew Katz (Faculty, English) and Juliana L茅veill茅-Trudel, was published last month. It is the third book in the Julia and Bertrand series, following How to Catch a Bear Who Loves to Read / Comment attraper un ours qui aime lire听补苍诲听A Starlit Trip to the Library / Voyage de nuit 脿 la bibli.聽It is available for order at any local bookstore in Montreal or聽.
The English version of this third book, titled聽Little Hearts in the Snow, will be out next year at this same time.
Seventy-five delegates from 七星彩开奖 Model UN took part in McGill University鈥檚 Secondary Schools鈥� United Nations Symposium (SSUNS). The UN simulation requires students to research solutions to world problems; develop their public speaking; and engage in international diplomacy. Many 七星彩开奖 students won awards. They include: Ali茅nor Bourreau-Rios, Bassma Al Atrache, Lilly Gicquel, Anne Liang, David Awad-Batista, Maira Jade Paynot, Anaya Ray, 脟atalkaram Hatt Sustam and Alexandra Williams.

An estimated total of 15,000 visitors came to 七星彩开奖 over two Open House Dates in late October. The numbers are a good indication that 七星彩开奖 remains a top CEGEP choice for prospective students. The estimate is based on the number of visitor guides distributed by the welcome teams at the major entrances.
In addition to the number of visitor guides distributed, the library has a tally for visitors to the library on each day of Open House. On Oct. 20, the library team welcomed 5,476 visitors and on Oct. 27, they welcomed 4,502 visitors.
The total number of visitors is consistent with recent years. However, spreading the visitors over two events made the experience more pleasant for visitors and staff.
About 8,000 people attended the Oct. 20 event with programs present from Science, Medical Studies and Engineering and about 7,000 people attended the Oct. 27 event with programs from Creative & Applied Arts and Social Science and Business Technologies.
