Theatre student Fanny Dvorkin’s work to be broadcast Thursday

Congratulations to second year Professional Theatre student Fanny Dvorkin. Fanny is the recipient of a $500 ART APART award from the National Theatre School of Canada. Her project will be broadcast on the and on Thursday, May 7. Her filmed performance focuses on the isolation caused by COVID-19, while exploring the notion of gender in a private world.

Dzʿ was to have hosted the 2020 Intercollegiate Unplugged Singing Competition on April 27.
The competition has moved online and everyone can join a Facebook Watch Party this coming Monday at 7 p.m.on the .
Three Dzʿ students are finalists in the competition:Jeanne Brabant, Jesse Caruso, and Aaron Patrick Dalangin. Viewers can vote for their favourite performance, along with three local celebrity judges.
