Students react to ΖίΠΗ²ΚΏͺ½±β€™s AASHE gold

In the lead up to Earth Day on April 22, ΖίΠΗ²ΚΏͺ½± students shared their thoughts about ΖίΠΗ²ΚΏͺ½± achieving the gold level for leadership in sustainability from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).

β€œStudents have been involved in this initiative from the beginning,” said Chris Adam of ΖίΠΗ²ΚΏͺ½±β€™s Sustainability Office.

Student contributions include:

  • Working on hundreds of sustainability projects every semester
  • Caring for biodiversity zones and tending rooftop gardens
  • Mobilizing for climate justice

β€œOur students are leading the way in ΖίΠΗ²ΚΏͺ½±β€™s journey of hope, change and resilience,” Chris said.
