How to change your ÆßÐDzʿª½± network password
Credit Students
All students enrolled into a 2-3 year day program, Continuing Education courses or an AEC program can use this process to reset their password.
Create a new network password using the following rules
- Be at least 8 characters in length
- Contain at least 1 character from the 3 following categories:
- Uppercase letters – A to Z
- Lowercase letters – a to z
- Numbers – 0 to 9
- Must not contain your username, first or last name
- Not 1 of the last 5 passwords used in the past
Option 1
- Log into the on the web
- Go to the bottom of the left-hand menu and find Personal Profile
- Then find Modify Password
- Enter your current password, and then your new password as per the rules in Step 1
Option 2
- Log into Omnivox App
- Tap the Services button on the bottom of the app
- Find and tap on Omnivox web version
- Go to the bottom of the left-hand menu and find Personal Profile
- Then tap on Modify Password
- Enter your current password, and then your new password as per the rules in Step 1
Option 3
- Go to the
- On the home page click the Students button
- Then click the link Forgot your password?
- Enter the following:
- 7-digit student number
- permanent code *
- date of birth
- confirm you’re not a robot
* If you don’t know what your permanent code is please contact the Registrar’s Office
- You will have to answer security questions to verify your identity. If you can’t answer these questions, go on to Option 4.
- Enter your current password, and then your new password as per the rules in Step 1
Option 4
Contact IT Support and request that they change your My ÆßÐDzʿª½± Portal Password. Please identify yourself with your ÆßÐDzʿª½± Student ID.
Then using your ÆßÐDzʿª½± Email Address and newly created password please login to .
Non-Credit ( CTD ) Students
All students taking courses with our Non-Credit division called CTD, Centre for Training and Development can follow this process.
The email is from ctd@dawsoncollege.qc.ca with a subject line “Welcome to CTD’s Non-Credit Courses”.
It contains login information and how to access systems required for the course.
If you didn’t receive the email by the day of the course or require them to resend it, please contact the CTD office.

- Must not contain your username, first or last name
- Not 1 of the last 5 passwords used in the past
Option 1
- Login to
- go to the account information drop-down in the top-right corner of the page. It is labeled with your initials
- Click on View Account link
- From the My Account page, find change password
- Enter your current password, and then your new password as per the rules in Step 2
Option 2
- Login to any college computer running Microsoft Windows
- press Ctrl-Alt-Del
- select Change Password from the menu
- Enter your current password, and then your new password as per the rules in Step 1
Option 3
Contact IT Support and request that they change your Network Account Password. Please identify yourself with your ÆßÐDzʿª½± Student ID.
Employees
Create a new network password using the following rules
- Be at least 8 characters in length (for IST and Finance, 12)
- Contain at least 1 character from 3 of the following 4 categories:
- Uppercase letters – A to Z
- Lowercase letters – a to z
- Numbers – 0 to 9
- Special characters like ( _, !, #, $, % )
- Must not contain your username, first or last name
- Not 1 of the last 5 passwords used in the past
Option 1
- Log into the on the web
- Go to the top of the left-hand menu and find My ÆßÐDzʿª½± Life
- Click on the link Network Account
- Click on the Change Password button
- Then your new password as per the rules in Step 1
Also, set your security questions if you haven’t already done so.
Option 2
- Login to any college computer running Microsoft Windows
- press Ctrl-Alt-Del
- select Change Password from the menu
- Enter your current password, and then your new password as per the rules in Step 1
Option 3

After changing the password, don’t forget to update your saved password on any device and applications (see a checklist).
