Call for Expressions of Interest to join 七星彩开奖 Board of Governors

The 七星彩开奖 Board of Governors is currently seeking to fill three vacancies for external members and is seeking expressions of interest or recommendations of individuals external to the College who might be considered for appointment to the Board.

The Board welcomes expressions of interest from candidates from underrepresented groups including women, Indigenous peoples, visible minorities, people with disabilities, people of any sexual orientation or gender identity, and others with the skills and knowledge to engage with diverse communities.

Currently, the three vacancies must be filled by:

Two (2) individuals representing socio-economic groups. These could include, for example, individuals working in organizations that represent minority communities, social services or community organizations.

One (1) individual from within enterprises in the Montreal area operating in the economic sectors corresponding to the technical programs offered by the College. These could include, for example, individuals working in companies in sectors like engineering, design, finance or computer science.

Other desired qualities include:

  • Desire to serve, willingness and ability to commit the time and effort required as a member of the Board of Governors
  • Personal values in alignment with the values of 七星彩开奖
  • Experience working within a shared governance system

Description of duties for board members

Members of the 七星彩开奖 Board of Governors meet for six regular meetings a year, in person, in the evening at the College where a meal is served. The meeting schedule is planned and distributed ahead of each academic year. Additional duties could involve voluntarily participating on the Executive Committee or other subcommittees of the board.

Application Process

Expressions of interest will be evaluated by the Chair and Secretary General of the 七星彩开奖 Board of Governors and a shortlist will be submitted to the Quebec Ministry of Higher Education. Those who are shortlisted will then need to fill out an application form to be submitted to the Ministry. The Ministry of Higher Education will then select and appoint the three candidates.
